Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy - is a form of therapy in which the client is treated on a one-on-one basis with a therapist. The most popular form of therapy, individual therapy may encompass many different treatment styles including psychoanalysis and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Individual therapy allows the therapist and client to focus on each other, building a rapport and working together to solve the client's issue.
Group Therapy
Group Therapy - is a form of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. This type of therapy is widely available at a variety of locations including private therapeutic practices, hospitals, mental health clinics, and community centers.
Family Therapy
Family Therapy - is a type of psychological counseling (psychotherapy) that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy can help clients improve troubled relationships with their children or other family members.
Supervised Visitation
Supervised Visitation - Providing families with a space to engage and interact while being monitored by professionals in a therapeutic environment. Parents can engage with their children in a setting with a family specialist or the visit can be therapeutic with a licensed clinician monitoring and providing guidance and feedback during the visit.
Peer Support Groups
Peer Support Groups - a regular gathering of individuals with similar lived experiences of mental illness or other challenges. Usually, once each month, these individuals come together, overseen by a trained peer support specialist or facilitator, to talk with one another about their experiences, struggles, and challenges.
Telehealth
Telehealth - a form of video conferencing allowing psychiatrists and therapists to provide services to patients outside of the office, for example at the patient's home or workplace. It also provides the opportunity for consultation with family members, teachers, and other providers involved in the patient's care.
Respite
Respite - provides parents and other caregivers with short-term childcare services that offer temporary relief, improve family stability, and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect. Respite can be planned or offered during emergencies or times of crisis.
